Fire Charity Kid’s Clinic 1‑Day Fishing Clinic

The FCF Foundation and Manatee County Natural Resource Department is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for local youth anglers! We are hosting a full-day clinic designed to inspire, educate, and spark a love for the outdoors!

Registration Lottery

• Opens: July 3rd, 2026
• Closes: July 24th, 2026
• Winners Selected: July 27th, 2026
• Winners Contacted: July 28th, 2026
• Clinic Date: August 22nd, 2026
• Available Slots: 35 youth (ages 8–14)
• Each youth may bring ONE guardian
• Guardian must remain present all day

Lottery winners will be randomly selected on July 27th and notified by email & text on July 28th!

Clinic Location

• Morning: The NEST at Robinson Preserve
• Afternoon: Perico Island

This free full-day clinic is packed with hands‑on learning, outdoor fun, and unforgettable experiences!

• Knot‑tying lessons
• Cast‑net throwing
• Multiple interactive learning stations
• And much more!

Hands-On Bridge Fishing – Secret Spot!

Put your new skills to work! Join us after a free lunch to fish off a secret bridge on Perico Island. Transportation to the second location by the guardian. Maps will be provided! Volunteers will be there to help you land, identify, and release your big catch!
